Police Discover Body of Missing Milton Keynes Pensioner
Tragedy in Milton Keynes as the body of missing 71-year-old Susan McGarragh has been found.
Missing Woman Found Near Cranfield Road
Susan McGarragh vanished on May 18 after last being seen at her home on Crow Lane in Wavendon. After a frantic search involving police and volunteers, her body was discovered yesterday afternoon, May 19, close to Cranfield Road.
Investigation Underway but No Foul Play Suspected
The woman is believed to be Susan, though formal identification is still pending. Police treat her death as unexplained but not suspicious.
Police Thank Community for Support
“Officers have been carrying out extensive searches to try and find Susan. Sadly, a woman’s body has now been found,” said Detective Inspector Joanne Hutchings of Force CID Milton Keynes. “Her next of kin have been informed and are being offered support. I want to thank everyone who assisted us in this investigation. It is with great sadness that I have to inform everyone of this tragic outcome.”
