Police Probing Margate sex attack appeal for information
Officers investigating a reported sexual assault in Margate are appealing for information. The incident happened near to a park in Ethelbert Crescent around 7.30pm on Saturday 25 May 2019 and was reported to police just over a week later. A girl in her mid-teens came forward with information that she was walking through the park when she was approached by a man who took her to his vehicle, parked in Ethelbert Crescent, and touched her inappropriately. She described him as a white man, aged between 40 and 50, with grey short hair, slightly balding, tall, clean shaven and of medium build. A number of enquiries have been carried out in order to identify the person responsible and CCTV has been reviewed.
