£30K Drug Haul Seized Near Chatham as Four Face Charges

Four men have been charged after police stopped two cars carrying cannabis worth an estimated £31,500 on the M2 near Gillingham.

Drugs Bust on M2 Follows Suspected Exchange

The vehicles were pulled over on the morning of Friday, 31 January 2020, after a suspected drug deal on Impton Lane, Chatham. Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate launched an investigation that led to arrests.

Four Charged in Major Cannabis Case

  • Ricky Phillip, 31, of Gosling Way, Lambeth, South London
  • James Howard, 40, of Meresborough Road, Gillingham
  • Endri Domi, 24, of no fixed address
  • Anthony Hills, 29, of Ocean Drive, Gillingham

All four face charges of being concerned in the supply of cannabis and money laundering.

Additional Charges and Court Dates

James Howard also faces dangerous driving charges linked to the arrest. Howard, Phillip, and Hills have been bailed to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 3 March. Meanwhile, Endri Domi remains in custody ahead of his court appearance on the same day.
