Massive Animal Welfare Event Hits Dover This Friday
Kent Police and top animal welfare agencies are teaming up for a cracking event in Dover on Friday, 8 April 2022. It’s happening in Pencester Gardens from 10am till 3pm – and it’s open to all pet lovers.
Chat to the Experts and Get Your Dog Chipped
Visitors can meet the Kent Police Dog Liaison Officer, plus reps from the RSPCA, The Dogs Trust, Dogs 1 UK, and Crimestoppers. County and district council officers, including community wardens and environmental experts, will be on hand too. Plus, guests from animal carers AHPAW and the Artisan Rare Breeds Centre will offer valuable advice.
Dog owners get a bonus: you can have your pooch microchipped on the spot. Plus, experts will answer your burning questions about animal welfare, pet-related crimes, and how to rescue or adopt animals.
Police Insist: Protecting Pet Owners is Priority One
“Protecting pet owners from becoming victims of crime is an important issue for Kent Police and the many partner agencies we work with,” said Acting Inspector Leigh Woolnough from Dover Community Safety Unit.
“I hope this event will give members of the public a chance to talk to experts and help us hear their concerns.”
Don’t miss this one-day-only chance to get your animal welfare questions answered and keep your pets safe and sound.
