Nicola Missing Mystery Deepens as Police Chase New Leads

Partner Visits Last Spot as Police Keep Options Open

Hours after police admitted Nicola might have left the area during her dog walk, her partner returned to the spot where she was last seen 12 days ago. While cops still suspect she fell into the River Wyre, Lancashire Police Superintendent Sally Riley revealed Nicola could have used a path that CCTV cameras missed.

Riley confirmed, “Every single suspicion or criminal suggestion has been dismissed so far,” but said Nicola leaving the area remains a “possibility.”

Dashcam Hunt Intensifies Along St. Michael’s Road

The mysterious path crosses the main road in St. Michael’s on Wyre, and police are desperately tracking down dashcam footage from 700 drivers who passed the route around 9.20 a.m. on January 27. This footage could hold vital clues to Nicola’s whereabouts.

Underwater Search Experts Doubt River Theory

Paul Faulding, head of Specialist Group International (SGI), is using sonar gear to scour the river. But if Nicola isn’t found underwater, he warns this could suggest she was never in the river at all.

Faulding hinted at a darker possibility, hinting at potential “third party” involvement in the disappearance.
