Pregnant Woman Stabbed 19 Times After Refusing Abortion Demand
A brutal stabbing has rocked Walthamstow after a man fatally attacked his pregnant girlfriend. Shaine March plunged a knife into Alana Odysseos 19 times, police revealed at a court hearing.
Tragic Killing in East London
Alana, 32, was in the early stages of pregnancy with her third child when the horror unfolded just after midnight on July 22 at their Walthamstow home.
Neighbours heard fierce arguments hours earlier, including a chilling plea from Alana: “I don’t want to kill my baby.”
Abortion Demand Ignored, Led to Deadly Attack
The court heard that March accused Alana of cheating and denied the baby was his. He threatened and demanded she terminate the pregnancy.
Desperate Final Moments Outside Home
At 3am, passersby found Alana outside, bleeding heavily and clutching her side. Dressed only in a nightie and dressing gown, she identified March as her attacker, crying out, “Shaine stabbed me, he stabbed me. Help, help.”
March calmly walked away while emergency services rushed to save her. But despite their efforts, Alana died at the scene.
