Trainee Surgeon Suspended Over Shocking Pro-Terrorism Social Media Posts

A trainee surgeon has been slapped with a 15-month suspension amid explosive claims of antisemitic and pro-terrorism social media rants. Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, 31, faces serious allegations including celebrating the Hamas terror attacks on October 7 as “the day Israel was humiliated” — while refusing to condemn the brutal assault that killed over 1,200 people.

Interim Ban to Protect Public Trust

The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) ordered the interim suspension on Wednesday to maintain faith in the medical profession. Despite the gut-wrenching claims, the panel confirmed there’s no proof that Dr Aladwan, a British-Palestinian trauma and orthopaedic surgeon, harmed any patients. The ban will be reviewed every six months as the General Medical Council (GMC) digs deeper into the allegations that could see her struck off for good.

Shocking Social Media Posts Under Scrutiny

  • Accusations of “Jewish supremacy” and Nazi comparisons
  • Denying reported rapes during October 7 attacks, despite UN reports
  • Attacking prominent Jewish figures, including Britain’s Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis
  • Calling the Royal Free Hospital a “Jewish supremacy cesspit”
  • Refusing to condemn Hamas terror and supporting “armed resistance”

Her legal team insists she has a spotless clinical record and alleges the case is driven by political bias and pressure from lobby groups — not real patient safety concerns. Dr Aladwan denies the posts amount to antisemitism or endorsing terrorism.

Second Tribunal Follows September’s Controversial Decision

This is the second time Dr Aladwan’s conduct has been probed by a tribunal in just months. Back in September, a panel refused to suspend her, citing free speech and lack of direct patient risk — despite evidence including alleged throat-slitting gestures and Holocaust denial. That ruling sparked outrage from politicians and Jewish groups.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting slammed the decision, saying he had “no confidence in our regulation system” and called Dr Aladwan’s comments “sickening” and “completely unacceptable in the NHS.”

Since then, regulators claim the tone of her posts has worsened, presenting new evidence that she justified terrorism and denied sexual violence on October 7.

Potential Fallout and Public Confidence at Risk

The tribunal warned the allegations were “of the utmost seriousness” and could severely damage public trust in doctors if proven. They highlighted a “high risk of repetition” because of the ongoing pattern of alarming posts.

Dr Aladwan’s legal team hit back, accusing regulators of political persecution and “lawfare” — claiming the medical watchdog is weaponising the system to target her beliefs rather than any real misconduct.
