A 30-year-old man from Swansea has been locked up for a horrific attack on a single victim. Adam Ezalden, from Waun Wen, was found guilty of rape and assault after a violent incident in April 2024.

Ezalden repeatedly punched and kicked the victim, ignoring their clear refusal of consent. The victim managed to break free by landing a brave elbow strike to Ezalden’s face before fleeing the scene.

After a trial that concluded in March 2026, Ezalden was convicted of rape and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. This week, he was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for his ruthless crimes.
