A 20-year-old man has been charged after tens of thousands of pounds worth of iPhones were stolen in a daring raid at Lakeside shopping centre.
Robbery and Attempted Robbery Charges
Avram Stoica, who currently has no fixed address, faces charges over the theft of more than £30,000 in iPhone 17s from the Apple store on 22 September.
He’s also charged with attempted robbery following a reported incident at an Apple outlet in Brent Cross, which happened on the same day.
Weapon Charges and Court Date
In addition to robbery offences, Stoica has been hit with two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday 24 November.
