Police Hunt Dog Owners After Brutal Alpaca and Sheep Attacks Near Nettlestead

Kent Police’s Rural Task Force is on the case after two sheep were killed and ten injured in a shocking overnight attack near Maidstone Road between August 16 and 17, 2022.

Just days later, two alpacas in a nearby field were also mauled to death during the hours of darkness between August 18 and 19.

Dark and Light Lurcher-Type Dogs Under Scrutiny

Police Sergeant Darren Walshaw issued a plea: “We’re asking anyone with information to come forward and help us catch those responsible.”

Officers are specifically searching for the owners of two unsupervised dogs spotted in the area. The dogs are described as dark and light coloured lurchers.
