Police Hunt Man Who Pushed Victims Onto Tube Tracks
Detectives are urgently searching for a man linked to a series of assaults on London Tube commuters. They’re asking the public to come forward if they recognise him.
Attacks at Baker Street and Finchley Road
At 11:50am last Thursday, the man attacked his first victim at Baker Street station. Less than an hour later, he appeared at Finchley Road station, pushing another man onto the tracks. A third victim has now stepped forward, saying he was also assaulted by the same man on a train from Finchley Road.
Two of the victims were taken to hospital but have since been discharged. Thankfully, none suffered serious injuries.
Distinctive Clues Could Crack the Case
Detectives believe the man is a stranger to all three victims. He is often spotted in the area with gaffer tape wrapped around his leg. Witnesses say he wore a distinctive hat with unique markings on the back during the incidents.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Langley said: “Our investigation is continuing at pace with a strong police presence across the area to reassure the travelling public. We urge anyone who recognises this man to contact police urgently.”
