Stabbing Horror in East Ham: Two Men Injured, One Arrested
In the early hours of Thursday, East Ham was rocked by a brutal stabbing that left two men critically wounded and a third man in police custody. The Met Police rushed to St Johns Road at 3:35 AM after reports of a violent attack.
Victims Rushed to Major Trauma Centre
Emergency crews from the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance found two men in their 40s with stab wounds. They were quickly taken to a major trauma centre. Thankfully, police say their injuries are not life-threatening.
Suspect Arrested on Suspicion of GBH
A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody as detectives continue to investigate the violent incident.
Road Closures and Police Appeal for Witnesses
Police shut down the area around St Johns Road, including Barking Road and nearby side streets, from 4 AM for a forensic sweep. The closures are causing major traffic disruption.
