EasyJet Faces a String of Mid-Air Drama

This latest incident adds to a growing list of easyJet diversions due to medical emergencies:

  • On March 25, a Tenerife-to-Liverpool flight diverted to Santiago-Rosalia de Castro Airport after a 67-year-old passenger was found unconscious. Sadly, resuscitation attempts failed.
  • Earlier in March, another easyJet flight had to divert to Lyon following an in-flight row sparked by loud movie volume.

Gatwick Emergency Services Ready and Waiting

Though details about the passenger’s condition remain under wraps, emergency crews were on standby at Gatwick and responded immediately upon landing. Flight tracking showed the plane veered sharply north from its original Manchester route shortly after crossing the English Channel.

What Happens Next?

Authorities have yet to update the public on the passenger’s condition. EasyJet urges anyone with concerns to stay tuned for further information.
