First Picture Emerges of Teen Brutally Stabbed Near Wexham Park Hospital
The tragic face behind a chilling knifing outside Wexham Park Hospital has finally been revealed. Mohammed Ashraf, 17, was fatally stabbed on Saturday night just yards from his home in Wexham.
Tributes Pour In for ‘Tank’ the Boxing Star
Friends and gymmates remember Mohammed as a gentle giant with a fierce passion for boxing. Khalil Khalid said, “He came to our gym often with friends. He was all about fitness and loved sport — never any trouble.”
His close friend Amar Kayani shared an emotional tribute: “We called him ‘Tank’ because of his power and relentless boxing style. Mohammed was respected and loved for his kindness. I can’t imagine what his family and friends are going through. May Allah grant him peace and a place in Jannah.”
Amar also issued a heartfelt plea against knife crime: “Today we lost Tank. Tomorrow it could be someone you know. Stop carrying knives before it’s too late.”
Night of Horror Outside Wexham Park Hospital
Police were called at 7:55pm on Saturday to reports of a stabbing on Benjamin Lane, a posh estate with average house prices topping half a million pounds, just yards from the hospital entrance.
Emergency crews treated Mohammed at the scene. Off-duty medical staff rushed to help. Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead within the hour after being stabbed in the chest.
Thames Valley Police have cordoned off the scene. Forensic teams are combing the area, which remains locked down amid a growing murder investigation.
Two Arrested as Police Hunt for Answers
Two 18-year-old men from Slough have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody. Detective Inspector Dejan Avramovic said:
“We are conducting a thorough investigation following this young man’s death. Our thoughts are with his family at this tragic time.”
“We are following CCTV footage and speaking to residents. Patrols have been stepped up and we urge anyone with information or dash-cam footage to come forward.”
