Isle of Wight Festival Teams Up with Save the Children
The Isle of Wight Festival has announced an exciting new charity partnership with Save the Children. The international charity works tirelessly to protect vulnerable kids, ensuring they survive, stay safe, and get the education they deserve.
Charity Challenges and Peppa Pig Fun
Festival-goers will find a pop-up Save the Children charity shop on site, plus a thrilling 160ft bungee jump. Here’s the catch: if you raise more than £150 for the charity, you can take the plunge for free!
Kids won’t want to miss special appearances from Peppa Pig herself, one of Save the Children’s biggest supporters, popping up in the dedicated Kids Zone.
Big Names Back the Cause
Caroline Giddings, Commercial Director of the Isle of Wight Festival, said, “We’re delighted to have Save The Children as our national charity partner to raise funds and awareness for the incredible work they do.”
Claire Rowney, Director of Save The Children, added, “Partnering with the Isle of Wight Festival is a huge and exciting opportunity to raise vital funds and spotlight our work protecting children worldwide.”
Why Save the Children Matters Now More Than Ever
With conflicts raging in Yemen and Syria, food shortages across East Africa, and the worsening Rohingya refugee crisis, Save the Children’s mission has never been more urgent. They’re on the ground, fighting to give kids a healthy start and a shot at a better future.
The Isle of Wight Festival runs from 21st – 24th June at Seaclose Park, Newport. Don’t miss out! Visit www.isleofwightfestival.com for full details and line-up information.
