Assistant Chief Constable Dave Minty hailed the event a success. “This year’s summer solstice was a safe and successful occasion,” he said. “Thanks to everyone who attended and the partners who worked with us to keep the peace.”
He added thanks to English Heritage, partners, stakeholders, and the officers, staff, and volunteers who worked through the night to make sure the event ran smoothly.
