Locals are on edge after a female dog walker was approached by a suspicious man in a white Transit van just one mile from where PCSO Julia James was brutally murdered weeks later. The incident happened two weeks ago in Nonington, where the woman, walking her Jack Russell, was accosted but managed to distract her attacker and escaped by shouting for help.
Close to Chilling Double Murder Site

Police Hunt for Clues and Witnesses

Her family, including husband Paul, are being supported by liaison officers. Colleagues have paid heartfelt tributes, vowing, “Your duty is done. We will take it from here.”
