Ramsgate Assault: Police Hunt Two Men in Dark Snoods

Man Attacked in Alleyway

Police have launched an appeal after a man was allegedly assaulted in Ramsgate.

The attack took place between 10am and 11:30am on 6 September 2020 in a narrow alley linking Rydal Avenue and Canterbury Road East.

Witnesses say two men approached the victim from behind and attacked him when he stepped aside to let them pass.

Victim Hurt and Hospitalised

The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered a chest wound and was taken to hospital. Thankfully, he was later discharged.

Suspects Description

  • Two white males, early 20s
  • Around 6ft tall
  • Wearing dark snoods
  • One in padded jacket
  • One possibly spoke with an Eastern European accent

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detectives have scoured the area, reviewing CCTV and conducting forensic checks.
