The US has confirmed three of its $90million F-15 fighter jets were shot down by Kuwait in a stunning friendly fire mistake. Videos circulating online show the planes plummeting through smoke, tailspinning towards the ground near a US military base.

All Pilots Eject Safely Amid Dramatic Crashes

Kuwait’s Defence Ministry confirmed multiple US warplanes crashed near the Ali Al Salem Air Base. Fortunately, all crews survived, with at least two pilots seen ejecting and parachuting to safety. One pilot was captured on video walking on the ground after his successful escape.

A Kuwait Defence Ministry spokesperson said: “Several US warplanes crashed this morning. All crew members survived. Search and rescue teams quickly evacuated the crews and transported them to hospital for medical checks. Their condition is stable. The cause of the crashes is under investigation.”

Tensions Spike as Iran Continues Gulf Strikes

The incidents hit amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Iran pressed on with a third day of attacks in the Gulf, leading to fires and smoke reported inside the US Embassy compound in Kuwait. An alarm was also reportedly triggered, leading to urgent warnings for US citizens to stay indoors and avoid the embassy.

The US Embassy in Bahrain warned of planned terrorist attacks targeting Americans, urging them to avoid hotels amid the unrest. The escalating conflict has disrupted air travel and strained evacuation efforts, leaving thousands of British tourists stranded in the region.

US President Confirms Troop Casualties

President Donald Trump has confirmed three US servicemen have died in Kuwait amid the violence. He also issued a stark ultimatum to Iran, which in turn rejected the call to surrender, vowing to continue their fight. Explosions have been heard across Dubai, Doha, and Cyprus as stability remains fragile.
