Man Found Critically Injured in Yardley Hit-and-Run
Two people have been arrested after a man was left seriously hurt following a hit-and-run in Yardley, West Midlands. The victim, a man in his 30s, was found injured on Selby Close just after 5.10pm on Friday.
Victim in Critical but Stable Condition
Police say the man was struck by a car which failed to stop at the scene. Officers quickly attended and discovered the victim had potentially life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police Make Two Arrests as Investigation Continues
- A 48-year-old man voluntarily attended a police station today and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
- A 43-year-old woman was arrested yesterday at a Birmingham address on the same charge.
Both remain in custody as officers sift through CCTV footage and question witnesses to piece together what happened.
