A massive fire has broken out in the Cobbswood Industrial Estate on Brunswick Road. Flames are raging as a huge pile of tyres goes up in smoke, sending thick, choking clouds across the area.
Emergency Services Battle Inferno
Kent Fire and Rescue Service are on the scene with six fire engines, a height vehicle, and a bulk water carrier. They’re tackling the fierce warehouse fire where the tyres are ablaze and causing dangerous conditions.
Residents Urged to Stay Safe
A Kent Fire spokesman warned locals to keep windows and doors shut due to the heavy smoke.
“Because of the large amount of smoke, we advise those living or working nearby to close their windows and doors,” said the spokesman.
