Man in his 30s stabbed to death outside Cornwall nightclub

A man in his 30s has died after a violent brawl outside the Eclipse Nightclub in Cornwall, with seven others injured in the early hours.

Police rushed to the scene on Castle Canyke Road in Bodmin following reports of a serious altercation. Officers arrived at around midnight and found multiple victims suffering from stab wounds.

One dead, seven admitted to hospital

The 30-something victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Seven men and one woman suffered injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, none of their injuries are currently life-threatening.

Police treat incident as isolated, hunt for witnesses

“Following an incident in Bodmin last night, a man in his 30s has been confirmed deceased and officers are supporting his next of kin,” said the 123 Investigation Team. “At this time we are treating this as an isolated matter and are not seeking anyone else in connection to this incident.”

“This is a live and active police operation with footage captured from Victoria Square and Castle Canyke Road.”
