Khyl Harrington, 32, of Meadow Lane, Westbury, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for drug offences following a court hearing at Salisbury Crown Court on October 10. Harrington pleaded guilty to being involved in the supply of cocaine between 2019 and 2023, as well as possessing criminal property.

Harrington was arrested on June 13, 2023, after police received intelligence from members of the public. During a search of his home, officers discovered cocaine with a street value of £38,650 and £5,900 in cash.

Detective Constable Ian Tilley commented on the case, saying: “Harrington was living a lifestyle that was beyond his means, such as going on expensive holidays. This was all funded by his criminal activities.”

He added, “We know the huge impact and harm that drugs cause within our communities, from the damage to users and their families to the associated crime and antisocial behaviour affecting neighbours and the wider public. Creating safer public spaces remains a key priority for the Force, and we are determined to make Westbury and the wider county a hostile area for drug dealers.

Wiltshire Police encourages residents to report any concerns related to drug activities through their website under the County Lines section.

This case highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to tackle drug-related crime and create safer communities across Wiltshire.
