A person has been found dead in south east London following a mysterious incident.
Rodney Road Shut Down
Police sealed off Rodney Road in Elephant and Castle on Sunday afternoon, December 14, at around 2.30pm. The area remains cordoned as enquiries continue.
Emergency Services Responded Rapidly
London Ambulance Service crews arrived on the scene in under three minutes after being called at 2.34pm. Medical teams, including paramedics and a clinical team manager, rushed to the location.
Victim Pronounced Dead at Scene
The individual’s identity, age, and cause of death are yet to be released. The victim was sadly declared dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further information but have not provided additional details so far.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We sent resources including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and a clinical team manager.”
