Derelict Caravan Fire in Broadstairs

Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a call regarding a derelict caravan ablaze in North Foreland Hill, Broadstairs.

At approximately 1:00 PM, two fire engines rushed to the scene equipped with firefighting gear, including drag rakes and high-pressure hose reel jets. Firefighters swiftly worked to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident. However, the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service reminds the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or potential fire hazards to prevent similar incidents in the future.
