Tragic Hit-and-Run Kills Man in Cowdenbeath
A 46-year-old man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run while crossing High Street, Cowdenbeath, on the evening of September 14.
Grey Audi Flees Scene
The victim was hit by a grey Audi around 8:30pm BST. The driver sped off towards Perth Road, leaving the man critically injured.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but sadly pronounced the victim dead at the spot, sparking outrage and grief across the local community.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Detective Inspector Kieran Marsh is urging anyone with information to come forward. “Enquiries are ongoing to locate the car and whoever was driving it,” he said.
“If you were in the area or have dashcam footage, please contact the police immediately.”
