A former teacher has been charged in connection with allegations of non-recent sexual abuse at Holmewood House Prep School in Langton Green, near Tunbridge Wells. The incidents are reported to have occurred between 1979 and 1985, and the victims were pupils at the school during that time.

Neil Scott, 75, of St Austell, Cornwall, faces four counts of indecent assault and five counts of gross indecency with a child. In a hearing at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 11, Scott pleaded not guilty to all charges. He has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on July 9.
