A man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing incident in Southwark on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred on New Kent Road just before 7.10pm on September 4. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene where they found the victim with stab wounds.
The injured man was swiftly transported to the hospital for treatment. His current condition is not yet known.
A crime scene has been established, and police enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to New Kent Road, SE1, by the London Ambulance Service at 19:07hrs on Wednesday, 4 September, to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended, and a man was found with stab wounds. He has been taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition. A crime scene is in place.”
