Police were called at 11.52pm on Wednesday, 4 September, following reports of gunfire on Kingsman Street, SE18.

Upon arrival, officers discovered shell casings and damage to a vehicle, leading to the establishment of a crime scene. A thorough search of the area revealed no immediate signs of a victim or suspects.

Just minutes later, at 23:56hrs, London Ambulance Service (LAS) notified the police of an injured man at a commercial premises on Church Street, SE18. Officers attended the scene where a man in his 20s had sustained gunshot wounds. He was treated by paramedics before being taken to a hospital. His condition remains unclear at this stage.

Crime scenes remain active at both Kingsman Street and Church Street as investigations continue. No arrests have been made so far.
