In a coordinated operation, officers from the Richmond Police were assisted by the Ham Special Narcotics Team (SNT) in responding to crucial information received yesterday. This led them to a targeted address in Ham, where a significant seizure of illegal substances and cash was made after a thorough search of the premises.
Upon entering the property, Officers discovered approximately 20 kilograms of cannabis, along with 1 kilogram each of cocaine and heroin. In addition to the substantial amount of drugs, officers also found £200,000 in cash, indicating a substantial illicit operation being conducted at the location.
The discovery of such a substantial quantity of drugs and cash highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking and distribution networks within the community.
