David Johnson and Caprice Thompson
Caprice Thompson, 46, of Hayter Road in Brixton, was caught trying to import £400,000 worth of MDMA into the UK. She was working for a crime group led by David Johnson, 51, of Reed Place in Clapham. Yvonne Stewart and Robert Hamilton
Robert Hamilton, 53, from Orpington, along with Yvonne Stewart, 55, from Croydon, and Kevin Filkins, 54, from Sevenoaks, attempted to ship £4.3 million worth of crystal meth to Australia. An investigation revealed that the drugs had been sent from Croydon, with Stewart identified as a corrupt insider. Hamilton was sentenced to 12 years and six months, while Filkins and Stewart each received 12-year sentences.
Nigel Prescod
Nigel Moore Prescod, 44, of Gordon Avenue in Hornchurch, was jailed for assaulting a woman in Woolwich and attempting to pervert the course of justice. The offences occurred in March and April this year. Prescod was sentenced to two years and three months in prison.
