Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision near the Blackwall Tunnel. The incident occurred at the junction of Tunnel Avenue and Denham Street just after 2 PM yesterday, June 17.
Emergency services, including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer, were dispatched to the scene and arrived within six minutes. They treated two injured individuals at the scene before transporting them to the hospital. Their current conditions are unknown.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service provided the following statement: “We were called at 2:02 PM on Monday, 17 June, to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Tunnel Avenue and Denham Street, SE10. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and an incident response officer. The first of our crews arrived at the scene in six minutes. We treated two patients at the scene, before taking them both to hospital.”
Further information has been requested from the Metropolitan Police as investigations into the incident continue.
