Staffordshire Police are investigating after two teenagers sadly died following a collision near Penkridge last night (Saturday 25 May).
In an appeal Staffs police said: We were called by colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service just before midnight to a report of a single-vehicle collision with four casualties on Cannock Road. We arrived at the scene a short time later.
Sergeant Richard Moors, from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Collision Investigation Unit (CIU), said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the young people who have tragically lost their lives and those who have suffered injuries.
[block_2]“Specialist officers are supporting their families at this difficult time and we ask that their privacy is respected. A full and detailed investigation is now underway to establish the cause of the collision.”
