A Whitstable man has been sentenced to three years in prison after attempting to import cannabis and being found in possession of a significant quantity of drugs, cash, and luxury items.
Felix Boo, 24, was arrested following a Kent Police investigation initiated when Border Force intercepted a package containing nearly 300g of cannabis on May 16, 2022. The seizure prompted a search warrant at Boo’s property in Whitstable, where officers uncovered further illegal activities.
Search Uncovers Drugs, Cash, and Luxury Items
During the raid, police discovered drugs including ketamine and cocaine in Boo’s bedroom and a garden shed he used. Additionally, more than £40,000 in cash and two Rolex watches valued at £10,000 each were seized.
Analysis of Boo’s mobile phone revealed hundreds of messages detailing drug deals in the local area, and financial investigations uncovered evidence of significant cryptocurrency transactions linked to his activities.

Charges and Sentencing
Boo was charged with several offences, including:
- Possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply,
- Importation of class B drugs, and
- Concealing or transferring criminal property.
He pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court on November 21, 2024.
Police Statement
Investigating officer Hannah Macrow commented on the case:
The sale of illegal drugs all too often leads to further crime, antisocial behaviour, and misery for communities to deal with.
I hope the sentence imposed on this man sends out a message to other drug dealers that police will catch up with them and jail awaits.”
Impact on the Community
The case underscores the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat drug-related crime in Kent. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to disrupting drug networks and removing dangerous substances from communities.
This sentencing serves as a warning to others involved in the illegal drug trade and highlights the importance of collaboration between agencies like the Border Force and local police forces in tackling organized crime.
