Dartford Drug Dealer Locked Up Over Crack and Heroin Supply
Kenneth Fenton, 39, from Balmoral Road, was sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court after admitting involvement in supplying crack cocaine and heroin. He was handed a 4-year and 4-month jail term on Monday, 4 December 2023.
Police Stop Car Leads to Major Drug Bust
The investigation kicked off when police stopped a car owned by Fenton and driven by Matthew Smith on 31 May 2023. Officers found crack cocaine and heroin cleverly hidden inside hollowed-out vapes during a search.
A mobile phone recovered from the vehicle revealed incriminating text messages between Fenton and Smith, linking them directly to drug supply.
‘Ash’ Drug Line Boss Takes a Fall
Detectives proved Fenton was running the ‘Ash’ county line in Dartford. On 10 August, he was caught driving the same vehicle on Keyes Road. Another search uncovered more drugs, cash, and a mobile phone. Fenton was promptly charged and pleaded guilty at court.
Smith, 34, from Lane Avenue, Greenhithe, was earlier sentenced to 3 years and 9 months for drug and weapon offences on 29 June.
Police Crack Down on County Line Dealers
“Kent Police works hard to dismantle and remove county line networks from our streets,” said Detective Constable Michael Nolan. “Fenton was exploiting vulnerable drug users for profit and using Smith to distance himself from the crime. Our investigation linked him to the deal, and now he’s behind bars.”
