On 31 January 2023, a pensioner entered Lloyds Bank on Week Street and popped his card into the cashpoint. Suddenly, a man approached and started chatting to him. Distracted, the victim had no idea £500 was quietly drained from his account.

Fraud conspiracy charge for Ilford woman
Chantal Ahmed, 54, from Mayville Road, Ilford, Greater London, was charged with conspiracy to commit fraud. She appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 10 March and was remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 5 April.
