Brutal Abusers Banged Up for Decades
- Roy Humphreys, 82, from Gillingham, got slammed with 22 years for abusing boys in the 70s and early 2000s.
- Stephen Rilley, 63, of Margate, terrorised a victim for nearly 20 years and was locked up for 19 years plus three more on licence.
- Glenn Swanson, 63, formerly from Gravesend, added 18 years after a new victim came forward.
- George Payne-Woodham, 21, ex-Gillingham, bagged 16 years jail and four extra on licence for prolonged child sexual abuse.
- Lee Balchin, 55, from East Malling, got 15 years after drugging and raping a child.
Online Groomers Nabbed in Major Bust
- Lucifer Hunter, 24, from Folkestone, masqueraded as a teen boy online to groom four victims. He’s now serving five years plus hit with a 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
- Kevin Scarnell, from Camden, spammed explicit messages at a teenager on dating apps and copped two years and eight months inside.
- Andrew Cullis, 43, of Swanley, caught with explicit images on a USB, got two years and four months behind bars.

“Humphreys, Rilley, Swanson, Payne-Woodham, and Balchin committed horrendous crimes against vulnerable young people,” said Detective Superintendent Edward Ruffle. “Justice often comes from victims’ bravery in speaking out. We act fast to arrest and protect others.”
