Drug Dealer Busted in Swanley Sting: Jailed for Four Years
Kent Police have landed a major blow on county line drug crime, locking up Ricardo Cain for four years. The 24-year-old was caught supplying cocaine and heroin in Swanley — part of an ongoing crackdown on dealers across the region.
How the Police Cracked the Case
In October 2023, detectives uncovered Cain’s operation. He was travelling from Penge to Swanley, pushing class A drugs. Using phone records, officers tracked marketing texts where Cain advertised his deadly wares to locals.
Raid, Arrest, and Drugs Tossed Out Window
On October 23, Cain was found dealing from a vulnerable person’s home in Swanley. Police forced entry and caught him red-handed with £250 cash. Cain tried to ditch evidence, throwing seven deals of heroin and 49 wraps of crack cocaine out a window — but cops were ready and scooped up the stash.
Drugs Worth Up to £1,120 Seized
Tests showed the seized haul had a street value between £500 and £1,120. Cain, who has no fixed address and was already on licence for a prior drug offence, faced serious charges for supplying crack cocaine and heroin.

The dealer pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court. On November 28, he was slapped with a four-year prison sentence, sending a clear warning to drug gangs operating in Kent.
Police Issue Stark Warning
Detective Sergeant James Arnold said, “This criminal thought he could safely deal class A drugs while hiding in a vulnerable person’s home. He was dead wrong and was tracked down by investigators determined to bring him to justice.”
“Anyone thinking about dealing drugs in Kent will be caught and face the full force of the law,” added DS Arnold.
Victory for Kent Police in the Fight Against County Lines
The successful takedown of Cain highlights Kent Police’s commitment to smashing county-line drug networks. With dealers behind bars, communities can breathe a little easier knowing officers are cracking down hard.
