Teens Arrested After Knife Attack in Shoeburyness

Police swooped on Ness Road, Shoeburyness, just after 4.45pm today (Sunday, 12 June) following reports of a violent disturbance. A teenage boy was found injured with an arm wound and rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his injury is not life-threatening.

Two London Teens Held Over Knife Assault

Officers arrested two teenagers from London on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. They remain in custody as police continue their probe.

A large knife was recovered at the scene, police confirmed.

Investigation Ongoing – Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

“I want to thank those who have already helped us,” said Detective Inspector Nick Brunton from CID. “I urge others to be patient and we will get back to them as soon as possible.”

“Officers remain on scene to reassure the public and carry out enquiries. Anyone who saw what happened or has footage, including dash cam or doorbell videos, should contact us immediately.”
