Hertfordshire Drug Dealer Jailed for Smuggling Gun and Stockpiling Weapons
A Hertfordshire man has been locked up after trying to import a firearm and hoarding a stash of deadly weapons at home. The National Crime Agency (NCA) revealed the shocking details of the bust that stopped the dangerous dealer in his tracks.
DEA-Style Sting Nabs Gun Import Attempt
19-year-old Henri Nikolli, from Potters Bar, tried to import a suspicious “Canine Training Kit” from the US in March 2025. But undercover agents at the US Department of Homeland Security intercepted the package, which contained a 9mm Forward Venting Blank Firing handgun and a firearm kit with magazine, brush, and muzzle adapter.
Armed and Dangerous: Deadly Weapons Found at Family Home
Nikolli was arrested outside his family property on 10 April 2025. Police uncovered three antique firearms, all modified to fire modern ammunition. Alongside the guns were tools for making and adapting weapons plus live and spent ammo.
The weapons haul wasn’t all. Officers found a cannabis grow tent, plant remnants, dealer’s “snap bags,” scales, frozen bags of herbal cannabis, and cannabis seeds stored in the fridge — a clear sign of a thriving drug operation.
More Ammunition, Knives and Evidence Discovered
Raids on Nikolli’s car and home revealed even more ammo, knives, mobile phones, and multiple SIM cards. A notebook detailing firearm manufacturing tools sealed the case against him.
In January 2026, Nikolli pleaded guilty to multiple charges at St Albans Crown Court. Today (Monday, 30 March), he was jailed for six years and three months.
The Organised Crime Partnership, a joint operation between the National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police, led the investigation.
