County Lines Dealer Banged Up for Nearly Four Years in Southampton Drug Bust
London Man Jailed for Peddling Heroin and Cocaine
Dilan Daley, 28, from Hackney, has been slapped with a 45-month jail term after admitting to running a county lines drug operation in Southampton. The court heard how Daley trafficked heroin and crack cocaine from London to the city, targeting local residents.
Police Crack Down in Joint Operation
Daley was arrested on 24 September during a joint Hampshire Constabulary and Metropolitan Police raid as part of their crackdown on county lines dealing. Officers found him in possession of Class A drugs at his Dynevor Road address.
The investigation was part of Operation Monument and Operation Orochi, dedicated efforts to stamp out drug supply networks.
Police Urge Communities to Speak Up
“We are committed and doing everything we can to tackle drugs and associated crime in our city and keep our communities safe,” police said. “Where there are drugs, there is often violence – especially involving weapons.” “If you spot drug activity, call 101. Even the smallest tip-offs can help nail dealers and keep our neighbourhoods safe.”
