Chukwudi Adubasim is in the dock after being charged with raping a woman in Coventry.
Major Police Hunt Leads to Arrest
The victim came forward reporting the rape on August 24, 2025. Police launched a full-scale investigation, which led to the arrest of the 29-year-old from Hillfields.
Officers arrested Adubasim on West Street on January 12, 2026. He faced Coventry Magistrates’ Court the very next day.
Next Hearing Set at Warwick Crown Court
No pleas have been entered yet. Adubasim is due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on February 10.
