Scott Gambier, an Ordnance Road resident from Enfield, faced Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on September 11 charged with 33 counts of shoplifting.
BP Garage Targeted in Theft Spree
Gambier allegedly hit the BP garage shop on Rayleigh Road 32 times between May 7 and September 9. The total haul? Over £1,100 worth of meat and other goods.
Sweet Tooth Theft and Court Ban Breaches
- He’s also accused of nicking £120 worth of chocolate from Iceland on Brentwood High Street.
- On top of that, Gambier faces 30 charges for breaking a court-imposed ban.
Behind Bars Until October Hearing
Gambier has been remanded in custody. His next court date is October 9 at Basildon Crown Court.
