Man Found Guilty of Raping and Killing Woman in Southall

A grim verdict has been delivered at the Old Bailey. Mohamed Noor Iidow, 35, from Hounslow, was convicted on Friday, 18 October, of raping and causing the death of 37-year-old Natalie Shotter.

Shocking Crime Unfolded in Southall Park

Natalie’s lifeless body was found on a bench in Southall Park on 16 July 2021. CCTV footage revealed Iidow stalking Natalie multiple times before launching a brutal attack. After the assault, he simply left her there and drove home.

Investigation Unmasked the Predator

The Metropolitan Police carried out a detailed probe, linking Iidow to the crime through expert forensic analysis. He was arrested in Hounslow weeks after the attack but claimed the encounter was consensual.
