Nicholas Orlando Green, 36, has been convicted of stabbing two men in a brutal knife attack at Kennington Underground station, south London. The shocking assault, caught in a swift and violent spree, has left victims fighting for their lives.
Details of the Attack
On the night of Wednesday, 27 March 2024, two men aged 44 and 42, part of a group from a local dance class, entered Kennington station around 10.30pm. Minutes later, Green appeared and launched a savage, unprovoked attack on the 44-year-old. He stabbed the man repeatedly for 20 seconds, even after the victim collapsed.
The second victim rushed to help but was also viciously attacked, suffering multiple stab wounds and being knocked to the ground before bystanders intervened. Green then assaulted a 31-year-old woman in the station lift before fleeing.
Serious Injuries and Court Verdict
Both men were rushed to hospital. The 44-year-old suffered multiple chest stab wounds and a fractured left arm, while the other man had 13 stab wounds in total. Green was found guilty of two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a bladed article, and common assault at Inner London Crown Court on Monday 1 September.
