Police Praise Teamwork Behind Convictions
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Attwell said: “What started as a typical summer evening at a busy West London station quickly turned into terrifying violence. The victim and offenders shared a packed train but didn’t notice each other until the platform. Then Watts launched a sudden, brutal knife attack in full view of shocked commuters. I welcome today’s conviction. Our detectives gathered a mountain of witness statements, CCTV footage, and forensic evidence to bring these offenders to justice. Thanks to the Metropolitan Police Service and Crown Prosecution Service for their vital support.”
