Kennington Knife Rampage: Man Stabs Two in Brutal Underground Attack
Nicholas Orlando Green, 36, has been found guilty after launching a savage knife attack on two men at Kennington Underground station, south London. The shocking assault left the victims fighting for their lives and sent shockwaves through the local community.
Savage Stabbing in Busy Tube Station
The horrifying attack unfolded on the night of Wednesday, 27 March 2024. Two men, aged 44 and 42, were heading home from a local dance class when Green suddenly targeted the 44-year-old, stabbing him repeatedly for a brutal 20 seconds — even after he collapsed.
The second man rushed to help but fell victim too, suffering multiple stab wounds before frantic bystanders stepped in. As chaos erupted, Green also attacked a 31-year-old woman inside the station lift before making his escape.
Victims Seriously Injured as Green Faces Justice
- The 44-year-old suffered severe chest wounds and a fractured left arm.
- The second man was stabbed 13 times.
Both were rushed to hospital in critical condition. At Inner London Crown Court on Monday 1 September, Green was convicted of two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a bladed article, and common assault.
He was cleared of attempted murder and sexual assault charges. Green remains behind bars awaiting sentencing in early December.
