Teen Held After Guns Found in Kensington Stop and Search
An 18-year-old man has been charged with serious firearms offences following a dramatic stop and search in Kensington and Chelsea.
Charged with Dangerous Firearm Offences
Yousef Dhimmi, from Clare Gardens, W11, was arrested and charged on Thursday, 4 July by the Central West gangs unit. He faces multiple charges, including possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon, and obstructing a police officer.
Weapon Seized During Evening Stop
The arrest came after officers from the Territorial Support Group stopped Dhimmi at around 9pm on Thursday evening. A firearm was discovered during the search.
Dhimmi is due to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 5 July.
