Police Dog Van Crashes After High-Speed Chase Near Figheldean
A police pursuit near Figheldean ended in drama when a vehicle lost control on a sharp bend, crashing into a wall. A police dog van was involved, smashing into the same wall on the bend.
Officer Airlifted with Head Injuries, Teen Taken to Hospital
A police officer was airlifted to hospital with head injuries, which are believed to be serious but not life-threatening or life-changing. A teenage passenger also sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
Driver Arrested on Multiple Charges
The driver, an 18-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop, and dangerous driving. He remains in police custody for questioning.

The police dogs in the van escaped injury and are currently being looked after while their handler recovers.
