A police pursuit near Figheldean ended in drama when a vehicle lost control on a sharp bend, crashing into a wall. A police dog van was involved, smashing into the same wall on the bend.

Officer Airlifted with Head Injuries, Teen Taken to Hospital

A police officer was airlifted to hospital with head injuries, which are believed to be serious but not life-threatening or life-changing. A teenage passenger also sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

Driver Arrested on Multiple Charges

The driver, an 18-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop, and dangerous driving. He remains in police custody for questioning.
