Kent Police bust suspected drug dealer in Ramsgate crackdown
Suspects Spotted Acting Shady in Waterloo
On Sunday, November 24, Kent Police swooped after spotting two men behaving suspiciously in the Plains of Waterloo at around 9 a.m. One man fled on foot, while the other jumped into a car. Officers quickly followed and pulled the vehicle over on Grange Road.
Drugs and Blades Found in Vehicle Search
During a thorough search, cops uncovered:
- Three wraps believed to contain cocaine and crack cocaine
- Two mobile phones
- Cash
- A locking knife
The driver, a 40-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, as well as carrying a bladed weapon.
Investigation Continues as Suspect Bailed
The suspect has been released on bail while detectives verify the substances and dig deeper into the case. Kent Police are keen to gather further evidence to crack down on the local drug trade.
